In this role you will be responsible for crew management and supervision of up to 15 cabin vessels on rivers throughout Europe. You will manage around 150 nautical personnel. You will be responsible for recruitment, entry and exit formalities, staff itineraries, checking expense claims and drawing up seasonal and rotation schedules. It goes without saying that you will take operational and legal requirements into account. You will assist with winter berth and port planning, maintain data in the personnel planning system and prepare deployment and employee data for payroll.

Your commercial training and/or professional experience in planning or operational activities in areas such as shipping, aviation, rail transport, logistics or similar industries make you the ideal independent specialist.

As a talented coordinator, you work with enthusiasm, team spirit, motivation, humour, and independence. You value diversity and enjoy making a difference in your day-to-day work. In addition to fluent German and English, other languages are an advantage.

Our location next to Basel SBB railway station offers a central position for commuters. We offer long-term career prospects within the UNITED WATERWAYS group, a dynamic and growing group of companies.

Do you think you are the one we are looking for? Then we look forward to you joining our team and helping us navigate the rivers of Europe!
