Start your career in the technical field and join our team as a Technical Inspector. This key position is central to keeping our fleet fit and reliable. As a Technical Inspector, you will be responsible for everything from creating repair reports and ensuring smooth communication between the office and ships during repairs to follow-up checks to keep our maintenance database up to date.

You will also be responsible for managing the winter repair process. This ranges from recording the necessary repairs and obtaining quotes to planning the budget.
You will also be responsible for debriefings with suppliers and checking invoices to ensure accuracy and transparency. Regular visits to our ships are also part of your job. During these visits, you will review the work of our mechanics on board and develop targeted training plans based on your assessments to help the team progress. You can also carry out your administrative tasks from home after consultation.

Your place of work is the technical office in Cologne’s Rhine harbor. Working closely with the headquarters in Basel and our customers, you will tailor our maintenance strategies perfectly to operational requirements and customer expectations. You will play a key role in maintaining the high standard of our fleet and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Ideally, you will have training in a technical or commercial field and speak German and/or English very well. If you also have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position, are organized and independent, reliable and willing to take on responsibility and lead our team on board, then you are the right person for us!
