Are you ready to combine IT expertise with a dynamic, international working environment? As Ship IT-Service Coordinator, this role plays a key part in supporting and maintaining the onboard IT infrastructure of a diverse river cruise fleet operating across Europe.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide first- and second-line IT support for vessels across the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France and other European ports.
- Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues remotely and during onboard visits.
- Act as the primary point of contact for ship crews and communicate daily with external IT suppliers and service providers.
- Manage procurement, deployment, and inventory of IT equipment.
- Participate in a rotating support schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends.
Your profile:
- A completed degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small team.
- Strong communication skills in English; German language skills are an advantage.
- Proven troubleshooting skills with a structured, analytical approach to diagnosing and resolving IT incidents.
- Willingness to travel frequently and occasionally on short notice.
- A valid category B driving license.
- Valid German work permit and permanent residency in the Cologne (Köln) area.
