We are looking for a talented Pastry & Bakery Chef de Partie to join our culinary team and help create the breads, pastries, desserts, and baked delights that define The Celebrity Way. Through your creativity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail, you will play a key role in delivering memorable culinary experiences for our guests.
As Pastry & Bakery Chef de Partie, you will oversee the daily bakery operation onboard, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation across all bakery and pastry offerings. From freshly baked breads and breakfast pastries to signature desserts and sweet specialties, your expertise will help create exceptional moments throughout the guest journey.
Working closely with the culinary leadership team, you will support daily production, maintain food safety standards, manage waste and cost control, and coach team members to achieve excellence in every aspect of the bakery operation.
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pastry or Bakery Chef de Partie in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, or banqueting environment
• Previous river cruise experience is preferred
• Cruise ship experience will also be considered an advantage
• Strong knowledge of bakery production, pastry techniques, and dessert preparation
• Experience maintaining food quality, presentation standards, and food safety regulations
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Good English communication skills
