We are looking for a talented and dependable Night Chef de Partie to join our Galley team and play a vital role in delivering the exceptional cuisine and elevated hospitality that define The Celebrity Way. Working behind the scenes, you will help ensure every culinary experience starts with quality, preparation, and excellence.
As Night Chef de Partie, you will oversee galley operations during the night shift, ensuring the kitchen is fully prepared for the day ahead while maintaining the quality, consistency, and attention to detail that define The Celebrity Way. Working independently and as part of a team, you will supervise overnight food production, prepare breakfast items, support Food & Beverage operations, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.
From coordinating overnight kitchen activities and mentoring team members to ensuring HACCP compliance and operational readiness, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.
What We’re Looking For
• A minimum of 8 years of culinary experience in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, river cruise vessel, or banquet operation
• At least 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie
• Previous river cruise experience is preferred
• Cruise ship experience will also be considered an advantage
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills in a multicultural environment
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation, recipe execution, and culinary standards
• Sound understanding of HACCP, public health, sanitation, and food safety requirements
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Good English communication skills
