Description

It’s time for boarding! Join our Finance team as an Accounts Payable and play an active role in shaping the future of River Advice—so we can set new standards together in European inland waterway shipping.

River Advice is the world’s leading independent manager of river vessels. With a broad range of services—from shipowning, crew, nautical, and technical management to hospitality & catering, safety & security, ship financing, charter brokerage, insurance management, new-build and refit support, and ship ICT—we support our clients in all areas of passenger inland waterway shipping.

Your responsibilities:

  • Support in accounts payable for various clients
  • Review, Validation, and Posting of Incoming Vendor Invoices
  • Entry, maintenance, and updating of vendor and master data in the SAP system
  • Supporting the Finance Team in its day-to-day operations
  • Help with the Document Management System

Your profile:

  • Completed vocational training in business
  • A knack for numbers
  • Previous experience in financial or accounts payable accounting is a plus
  • Fluency in spoken and written German and English; knowledge of French is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Independent, reliable, and meticulous work style
  • Quick comprehension and the ability to think holistically
  • A team-oriented person with a hands-on approach
