We are looking for dedicated and skilled Engineers who take pride in maintaining the technical performance, safety, and operational excellence of our vessels. As an Engineer, you will have a wide range of responsibilities focused on maintaining and monitoring the ship’s machinery, facilities, and equipment. You will work closely with the Captain and collaborate with the repair department to promptly address any problems or damages that arise. Additionally, your duties will include performing routine maintenance tasks independently, such as oil changes and general upkeep of the machinery, also maintanence of the ship, hotel part (guest cabins, restaurant, bar, kitchen).
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a smiliar position preferred
- A valid River Book with a qualification as a River Engineer
- Certification as a Breathing Appartatus Carrier and First Aid is a significant advantage
- Good German and/or English communication skills
