Your new role will involve a lot of travel and flexible working hours. You will be responsible for part of our fleet and will manage the crews. You will use your teaching skills to pass on your knowledge and experience and train nautical trainees.
You will also support the Nautical Fleet Management in recruiting and manning the vessels in accordance with regulations. You will also be responsible for coordinating and implementing all operational activities, carrying out quality and safety checks and optimising orders.
You will also use your skills to deal with nautical problems on board and your support in accident and emergency management will be invaluable. If necessary, you will be prepared to step in and, if there is no other option, take over the helm of a vessel.

You are the perfect candidate if you have a nautical qualification as a captain, a licence for the Rhine to Mainz and possibly the Danube, and ideally experience in management and human resources. Your confident, professional manner and excellent communication skills in German and English make you a valued contact. The use of digital tools such as the Office package is a matter of course for you. You are used to working in an international environment.
