At Celebrity River Cruises, we believe that exceptional dining experiences begin with exceptional culinary talent. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our Galley team and help deliver the outstanding cuisine and elevated hospitality that define The Celebrity Way.
As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing your assigned kitchen section while ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, consistency, and food safety. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef, leading by example and supporting the development of junior culinary team members.
From preparing exceptional dishes and supervising daily production to maintaining HACCP standards and controlling waste, you will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests as they sail through Europe’s most iconic waterways.
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum of 8 years of culinary experience in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, river cruise vessel, or banquet operation
• At least 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie
• Previous river cruise experience is preferred
• Cruise ship experience will also be considered an advantage
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and international cuisine
• Experience leading and mentoring multicultural culinary teams
• Sound knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Good English communication skills
