River Advice is looking for an experienced and outstanding Captain to operate exclusively on the Douro River. As Captain, you are the backbone of the vessel, ensuring smooth daily operations and expertly leading the entire nautical team. Your responsibilities – Shape the future of River Advice:
- Responsible for the management, the safe navigation and operation of the vessel
- Responsible for the safety of the crew and guests
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations and take full command of the vessel
Your profil – What you bring to the table:
- Proven experience as a Captain or similar role; river cruise experience is an advantage
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
- Certificates for “breathing apparatus carrier” and “first aid”, that’s a big plus
