River Advice is looking for an experienced 2nd Captain to support cargo vessel and shipping operations for Danser. This position is ideal for someone with strong nautical experience, solid knowledge of cargo vessel operations, and the required patents and certificates to ensure safe and efficient transport.
Your responsibilities:
- Responsible for the safe navigation and operation of cargo vessels on the Rhine
- Ensure compliance with all relevant nautical, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Support safe and efficient cargo transport operations on European waterways
- Coordinate with crew members, dispatch, and operational contacts to ensure smooth vessel operations
- Maintain a safe, reliable, and professional working environment on board
Your profil:
- EU/EFTA passport
- Full Rhine Patent from seaport to Basel, including risk sections and maritime waterways
- German language skills
- Radio certificate
- Radar certificate
- ADN certificate preferred
